Job description
- Install, configure and maintain Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktop environments
- Provide 1st & 2nd line IT support via the Service Desk
- Support users in both physical and VMWare virtual environments
- Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware and software for desktop and mobile devices
- Ensure communication systems deliver seamless service, resolving incidents promptly
- Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange accounts and access permissions
- Maintain secure file storage access and data protection
- Support enterprise messaging (Microsoft Exchange) and unified communications (Mitel)
- Travel to other UK sites as required and provide remote support
- Adhere to ISO standards, security policies and Health & Safety compliance
- Positively represent the business to staff, suppliers and customers
Requirements
The successful candidate will be customer-focused, technically capable and able to resolve incidents quickly and efficiently to keep systems running smoothly., * Experience providing 1st & 2nd line IT support
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory & Exchange
- Understanding of VMWare environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service capability
- Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements)
