We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Systems & MI Manager to lead our HR Systems team within the People & Organisational Development (P&OD) Directorate.
This is a pivotal role where you will act as the subject matter expert for our Oracle system, ensuring its integrity, stability, and continuous improvement. Managing integrations between Oracle and other platforms such as our applicant tracking system, deliver accurate and timely reporting, and oversee statutory returns such as HESA.
About the team: Join our P&OD Directorate, a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional HR services across the University. Within HR Operations, our HR Systems team plays a critical role in managing and optimising our Oracle HCM platform and integrated systems. About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Systems & MI Manager to lead our HR Systems team. Acting as the subject matter expert for Oracle HCM, you will:
- Ensure system integrity, stability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage integrations with key HR and operational platforms, such as recruitment and workforce scheduling systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Deliver accurate reporting and oversee statutory returns including HESA.
- Drive system enhancements aligned to strategic objectives while leading and developing a dedicated team (working closely with IT, Finance, and external partners).
About the candidate: We are looking for a proactive leader with strong technical expertise in HR systems (experience with Oracle HCM is highly desirable for this role). You will also have a proven track record in:
- managing HR systems,
- leading teams,
- delivering large-scale projects.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to manage complex data and reporting requirements.
