We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Systems & MI Advisor (HESA) to join our HR Systems team, within the People & Organisational Development (P&OD) Directorate.
About the team: Our P&OD Directorate is committed to delivering high-quality HR services across the University. Within HR Operations, the HR Systems team plays a vital role in managing HR data, systems, and reporting. We work collaboratively to ensure compliance, accuracy, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated HR Systems & MI Advisor (HESA) to join our HR Systems team. You will be the subject matter expert for the annual HESA Staff return, managing the process end-to-end to ensure accurate and compliant submission. In addition, you will:
- deliver high-quality HR reporting using Oracle OTBI,
- support data uploads and integrations for HR operations,
- champion data quality and governance.
Working closely with HR, Payroll, Research & Innovation, and Strategic Planning, you'll play a key role in delivering statutory returns and insights that inform strategic decisions.
About the candidate:
We are looking for someone with advanced Excel skills and strong data manipulation expertise, combined with a solid understanding of HR data and processes. You will also have:
- excellent analytical and communication skills,
- experience in data validation and reconciliation,
- knowledge of HESA requirements,
- a degree, or equivalent experience, in data analytics or HR systems.
Familiarity with Oracle HCM and OTBI reporting tools is highly desirable, along with experience coordinating or contributing to statutory data submissions.
