Job description
To support the company in its BI transformation, AXA Belgium's Data Office is seeking a BI Analyst within the BI Transformation team. The BI Transformation team is part of AXA's Data Office. It is responsible for defining and implementing BI governance within AXA, promoting the use of existing transversal assets in the enterprise data warehouse, and creating new sources based on needs by synthesizing the expectations of different Business Units. It also provides training on best practices for reporting, data modeling, and performance management.
In close collaboration with internal clients, BI developers (Azure Analysis Services, SQL), Data functional analysts, and Data engineers:

You lead reporting projects: You support one or more reporting projects, paying particular attention to analyzing and communicating priorities, risks, issues, agendas, and results.

You conduct interviews with internal clients (executive teams and middle management) to understand how to translate AXA's strategy into relevant indicators, and you challenge them when necessary.

You ensure the mutual acceptance of these indicators among the different stakeholders involved in a project.

You are the guardian of good data exploitation practices, efficient model building, and the use of reporting tools.

You communicate regularly with the business sponsor and all project stakeholders. You provide feedback, updates, and presentations regularly.

You support the definition and transformation of BI governance: Initially, you assist in defining BI governance within AXA and collaborate with the team to implement it.

You participate in discussions regarding the development of a 'target' enterprise data model that is as transversal as possible and supports both reporting and advanced statistical, AI, and analytics uses.

You provide training to BI developers and functional analysts on best practices for data modeling in reporting, ensuring models are reusable and applicable across AXA.

You are involved in efforts to establish a BIG Picture of existing transversal assets and their connections for easy exploitation, including a reporting glossary and the development of a data glossary. You also ensure their adoption by the business.

You lead the BI community, which brings together users from decentralized reporting teams to share experiences and align on best practices in data use and information publication.

For the BI projects you are responsible for, you ensure the delivery within time and budget, producing smart and relevant visuals that enable users to quickly and comprehensively understand their situation in relation to the 'business' strategy they wish to implement.

You contribute to AXA's maturity in data modeling and BI.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Time management?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Ideally, you hold a Master's degree (quantitative field) and have at least 2 years of experience as a business or functional analyst, with a strong interest in data management within an organization.
- You possess technical knowledge to extract, manipulate, and present data (SQL, PowerBI, Azure Analysis Services, Excel, PowerApps, others).
- You also have knowledge of data modeling standards (dimensional modeling, data warehouse, data marts).
- Language skills: basic knowledge of French, Dutch, and English.
