Job description

A leading digital transformation company in Barcelona is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to enhance their platform team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in software development and expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, AWS, and CI/CD practices.   • Build internal platforms that empower product teams.
  • Streamline CI/CD pipelines and provide self-service tooling.
  • Implement best practices around security and observability.
  • Support teams to move faster with confidence and consistency.

Requirements

  • 5 years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 2-3 years as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript (NodeJS).
  • AWS expertise (e.g. ECS, Lambda, CloudFront, S3).
  • Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Terraform CDK is a plus.
  • Knowledge of API design, particularly RESTful and secure interfaces.
  • Experience in CI/CD pipeline development using tools like Gitlab CI and GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as NewRelic and Splunk.
  • Experience with content management systems, such as Storyblok.
  • Ability to work within Agile or Scaled Agile frameworks.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
