Job description
- Assisting banking application migrations
- Working with Windows application developers and engineers
- Collaborating with the iSeries/IBMi/AS400/i5 specialists
- Respond to and resolve application-related incidents and service requests
- Propose enhancements to applications and lead mini-projects to improve customer experience, automate tasks, and streamline support processes.
- Assess, manage and resolve security vulnerabilities and observations.
Requirements
- Experience working in an application support role.
- Proven experience supporting bespoke or custom-built applications.
- Proficient in SQL coding.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- PowerShell, SFTP, and WinSCP proficiency.
- Familiarity with alerting.
- Monitoring and APM tools such as Data Dog.
- Understanding of security protocols including Entra ID.
- Experience using version control tools such as GIT.
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
