  • Implement and improve observability tooling and dashboards.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation using Azure DevOps.
  • Deploy and manage workloads on container and non-container platforms.
  • Support production environments (24/7 availability) and participate in standby rotations.
  • Work within ING's Scrum and DevOps practices, delivering iteratively with high quality.

  • Strong knowledge of Linux fundamentals and virtualization concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms: Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
  • Solid experience with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Git, Maven, Ansible - including automated deployments on container platforms.

Strong experience with open-source monitoring and observability tools:

  • Grafana

  • Prometheus

  • Elastic / ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

  • Experience designing dashboards, observability pipelines, and performance/health metrics.

  • Practical experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management.

  • Good scripting skills (Bash, Unix).

  • Good knowledge of relational databases, especially Oracle.

  • Experience in platform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and platform optimization.

  • Basic understanding of Scrum/Kanban and Agile methodologies.

  • Affinity with Risk and Compliance.

  • 24×7 production support experience and willingness to join standby rotations.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with ELKaaS provisioning and configuration.
  • Experience in designing resilience patterns, idempotent architecture and large-scale asynchronous processing.

Benefits & conditions

  • 12 months contract with the possibility of extension, aiming for internal employment at ING after 18 months.
  • A 36 hour workweek with flexible hours and a hybrid working model (office and home-based).
  • Salary range: €4.500,00 - €6.750,00 gross per month (based on 36 hours per week, excluding holiday pay, based on experience).
  • Additional benefits: holiday allowance, 13th month and pension contributions.
