Job description

Join Forvis Mazars Group in Barcelona to lead ERP SAGE X3 implementations and support internal projects for the Center of Excellence. Your Role

Lead ERP SAGE X3 implementations, design project schedules, manage risk, coordinate change management, train end-users, and provide post-implementation support. Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute ERP system implementations, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, user training, and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Finance, Operations, etc.) to ensure ERP solutions align with business needs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between software vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Design and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement methodologies and best practices for project management within the PMO.
  • Identify project risks and create mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to document lessons learned and apply insights to future projects.
  • Oversee and coordinate organizational change management related to ERP implementations and associated initiatives.
  • Train and support end-users to ensure optimal adoption and efficient system utilization.

Internal Projects Coordination

  • Lead tools implementation and operational efficiency projects to enhance business processes.
  • Provide operational and technical support across various initiatives.
  • Offer expertise on finance, accounting, and operational workflows.
  • Analyze client requirements and configure tailored solutions.
  • Document business solutions, including functional designs, workflows, and data migration plans.
  • Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing post-implementation support.
  • Organize and participate in regular client meetings to review progress, address challenges, and plan actions.
  • Develop systems, methodologies, processes, and tools in collaboration with teams.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, finance, or related field (project management certifications a plus).
  • Technical Expertise: High proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Sage X3; strong understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, and reporting processes.
  • Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication in English (B2 or higher).
  • Project Management: Proven ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience: Preferred: previous experience in an international environment or working with global teams; Required: solid knowledge of accounting or auditing standards with focus on financial workflows; Preferred: experience in coordinating ERP, accounting, or outsourcing projects.
  • Teamwork & Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams; capable of leading training sessions and supporting end-users post-implementation.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities; focus on financial management, reporting, and analysis; ability to align ERP implementations with financial strategies and organizational objectives.
