Lead Fabric Data Consultant

Lead Fabric Data Consultant contractors required for 6-12mth programme with a leading client in Merseyside area; this programme involves designing and implementing a new Azure-Fabric based data lake, focusing on advanced analytics and business intelligence. The position requires expertise in data engineering, data architecture, particularly with medallion architecture and data fabric design patterns., * Design and implement a new Azure-Fabric based data lake, utilising medallion (Silver to Gold layer) architecture and data fabric.

• Ensure the platform supports advanced analytics and Business Intelligence through best practices in data management and architecture.

• Expertise in Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, Silver to Gold layer medallion architecture, and data fabric design patterns.
• Experience in the Full end to end process of a MS Fabric transformation project
• Strong knowledge of data lake architecture, modelling, integration, governance, and security.
• Experience of Data Quality/Governance
• Proven experience migrating data from on-premise systems to cloud platforms.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ideally be MS Fabric Certified, Applicants must be UK based and be able to travel to client site in Merseyside (1-2 day per week).
