Job description
Job Role: As a Document Controller, you will provide critical support to a major civil-infrastructure package. The role ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant management of all project documentation supporting operations, remediation, and decommissioning works.
Working closely with project managers, engineers, designers, QA teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders, you will manage document workflows, version control, approvals, and distribution to ensure full traceability and compliance within a highly regulated environment.
Requirements
This Document Controller role requires an organised, detail-driven individual with previous experience in construction or infrastructure documentation, ideally within nuclear or similarly regulated sectors. You will uphold strict standards in quality, security, and governance across all documentation processes., * Proven experience as a Document Controller on large civil engineering, construction, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to manage large volumes of technical documentation with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and maintain compliance with safety, quality and security protocols
- Proficiency in MS Office and document control/EDMS platforms
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, design, commercial, subcontractors, client teams)
- Security clearance (SC) or ability to obtain SC
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- Previous experience working on nuclear-licensed sites
- Knowledge of UK nuclear regulatory documentation requirements
- Understanding of QA/QC processes and audit readiness
- Relevant qualifications in administration, document management, project controls or construction support
Benefits & conditions
- Pay: £35,000 - £40,000
- Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, Days, Full Time (45 hours)
- Duration: Permanent
