Job description

  • Provide first-line support via help desk platforms, addressing user queries promptly and professionally.
  • Troubleshoot software issues across operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Support desktop environments by managing hardware components, peripherals, and software applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Manage Active Directory accounts for user authentication and access control; perform account provisioning and de-provisioning as required.
  • Conduct hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, servers, and networking equipment; coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Document support procedures and solutions clearly to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects that enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience with Active Directory management and user account administration.
  • Troubleshooting software applications including Microsoft Office suite is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills; ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
