Join Epta UK Design & Application engineer and play a key role in driving our commercial success within the retail refrigeration division, contributing directly to our growth and strategy plan. You will be responsible for the ensuring client needs are satisfied and that we maintain industry leading technical knowledge and support to the EPTA UK team.
Further to this ensuring the best financial performance to the department is achieved in areas they can affect all within the Epta UK strategy and goals. You'll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, working alongside a passionate team that values your ideas and supports your growth every step of the way.
This is a permanent, home-based role offering 37.5 hours of flexible working per week, with occasional travel to our Bradford or Ringwood office, also project visits as required.
As a Design & Applications engineer, you'll benefit from the autonomy to manage your schedule while designing projects to the highest standard., 1. Design Engineer: Oversee multiple projects across the UK from pre-start to design handover, ensuring delivery on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Compliance & Standards: Ensure full compliance with legal, health and safety, technical, and installation standards; collaborate with internal teams to uphold industry best practices.

Client & Supplier Communication: Development of projects alongside internal and external stakeholders such as consultants, architects, and main contractors to enable professional delivery for EPTA UK.

Financial Control: Participate in providing forecast updates and focus on financial control with wider team to optimize profitability.
Requirements
Do you have experience in System design?, We are seeking an experienced and proactive design engineer, being cost-effective in design and delivery, driving value and building strong relationships with the wider teams., You bring a strategic mindset, a proactive and adaptable approach, and strong analytical skills, all underpinned by a customer-focused attitude. Your excellent communication and negotiation abilities enable you to design and deliver projects with confidence and clarity.
Ideally, you will also have:

Have experience in Design & Application within the refrigeration industry, preferably within the commercial retail sector.

Desirable qualifications would be ONC /HNC in building services engineering, NVQ in refrigeration and air conditioning.

A self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

A process-driven approach to project delivery, ensuring consistency and quality throughout.

Proficiency in IT, including Micropipe, Microcalc, Mistral, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and CRM.
