We are excited to offer a new position (IT Support Engineer) at IT Mighty. We have had fantastic growth over the last 12 months and because of this we are looking to expand our support team. The role is office based and would include working with our existing team of engineers in supporting our growing client base. Be part of an ever changing and dynamic industry where learning something new is a daily occurrence.
Aim of the job
To provide professional IT support to current clients ensuring the delivery of responsive and high quality advice and information services that meet all targets, standards and objectives., * Providing technical support for customers with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence;
- Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults;
- Replacing parts as required;
- Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues;
- Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time;
- Provide detailed logging of work orders using the call logging system
- Track and manage IT hardware and software licenses and be able to provide audit information on them;
- Organise correct disposal of unusable IT equipment;
- Testing and evaluating new technology;
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications;
- Suggesting and providing IT solutions to business and management problems;
- Planning and implementing future IT developments and undertaking project work
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in macOS?, Do you have a GCSE?, * Educated to diploma/degree level or equivalent
- Experience in a customer facing environment
- Experience in an IT support role
- Full UK driving license
