Job description

As a Technical Tracking Specialist within our Global Technical Client Support and Integration department, you'll act as the go-to expert on Awin's tracking technology; connecting technical innovation with commercial impact. In this role, you'll help shape the future of performance marketing by ensuring the accuracy, scalability, and evolution of our global tracking solutions.

You'll have the opportunity to influence Awin's global tracking strategy and lead high-impact initiatives that directly drive revenue and client success. Working cross-functionally with teams across Product, Data, Strategic Partnerships, and Commercial, you'll sit within a collaborative environment where technical expertise meets business strategy.

Key Tasks

  • Identify and prioritise initiatives to generate or protect GP (Server to Server migration, bug fixes, etc).
  • Coordinate, support & track technical projects in the department, including Awin's ongoing CPI project.
  • Collaborate with the Data Service team to build dashboards that enable the tracking of GP from new initiatives and define appropriate KPIs for the team.
  • Participate and contribute to the technical roadmap in relation to tracking priorities and challenges faced by colleagues and external parties who rely on tracking.
  • Evaluate solutions to automate and improve tracking quality, supporting with technical issues raised within the team.
  • Stay up to date with tracking innovations and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate closely with the Strategic Partner team (e.g. new partners, feedback loops, joint actions) to keep abreast of ongoing activities, upcoming workloads and future alignment areas.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and business teams to ensure alignment and efficient execution, translating complicated technical jargon to less technical colleagues or partners.
  • Communicate clearly: contribute to newsletters, presenting in internal meetings, and represent tracking topics across the industry.
  • Act as a lead within the team in collaboration with the Team Lead and maintain close cooperation with the department director.

Requirements

  • A background in a digital or performance marketing technical role preferred
  • Solid understanding of web languages including HTML, JavaScript, SQL and PHP
  • An understanding of eCommerce platforms & how they operate within the digital marketing industry
  • Exceptional communication skills, fluent in English (additional European language(s) are ideal)
  • Ability to establish and enhance relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, & external partners
  • Project Management experience with an ability to adapt, automate, and innovate processes to evolving business or client needs
  • Ability to lead & advise team members and/or stakeholders across a range of business areas globally
