Job description
- Based from home looking after your schools
- Providing a planned and reactive service to your sites across all of their IT Support needs
- Installing, maintaining a range of software, hardware and accessories including interactive whiteboards and learning tools
- Maintaining and developing excellent client relationships
- Handling all technical IT support problems and issues that may arise
- Escalating issues where needed
- Devising plans with the client to ensure continuity of service and best use of budgets
- Liaising with multiple contacts for different departments across site
- Working closely with the IT Managers and senior leadership teams
Requirements
Our client is a leading and well-established Trust with multiple schools in the North West. Established for many years they are well respected in their field, achieving and delivering world class inclusive Education. We are now looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join the team. Experienced in 1st and 2nd line IT support we are looking for someone that has experience of working onsite with clients, great communication skills as well as strong technical IT support engineer knowledge. - Ideally education sector experience
- Possess great communication skills and an ability to build client relationships effectively
- Technical knowledge of:
- Windows Server 2008 - 2016
- Assisting with managing Active Directory environments and using Group Policy in an environment of 30+ devices
- DNS, DHCP, and the TCP/IP suite
- WDS, MDT, or other imaging tools (both creating and deploying images)
- Windows 7 - 10
- Office 365
