Job description

THE IT INFRASTRUCTURE & SUPPORT ENGINEER OPPOURTUNITY
As part of the central IT Network Team, you will:
- Provide second-line support for IT infrastructure across multiple sites.
- Assist with networking, server management, and cloud services.
- Contribute to strategic IT projects and upgrades.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers for equipment and services.
- Perform audits and ensure compliance with IT policies and data security.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with PC hardware, troubleshooting, and operating systems (Windows 10/11, MacOS).
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and subnets.
- Knowledge of Office 365 and Microsoft products (Teams, OneNote, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- Experience with wireless networking and structured cabling (Cat5e/6).
- Familiarity with Layer 2/3 switches and routers.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, adaptable approach.
- Desirable: Experience with fibre optic cabling, AV equipment, Windows Server (2019+), Intune, Microsoft Cloud technologies, VMware ESXi, and ITIL Foundation certification., * GCSE/A-Level education minimum.
- Cisco/Microsoft/CompTIA/AWS certifications or willingness to work towards them., * 2nd Line
