Job description
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our remote team in the UK. This role is open to both fresh graduates and seasoned professionals up to 12 years of experience. The Power BI Developer will be responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions., * Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Gather and understand business requirements to create meaningful reporting solutions.
- Prepare, clean, and transform data for reporting using Power Query and DAX.
- Optimize data models and queries for accuracy, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain data governance, version control, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Support the integration of Power BI with various data sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, etc.).
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in BI practices and data strategy.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, * Basic understanding of Power BI or other BI tools.
- Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and data visualization principles.
- Familiarity with DAX formulas and Power Query (advantages but not mandatory).
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn BI concepts and advanced reporting techniques.
- Proven experience in Power BI development and advanced report building.
- Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M language).
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.
- Expertise in SQL and optimizing data pipelines for reporting.
- Experience connecting Power BI to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to lead BI projects, understand business needs, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
