Job description

As a Public Cloud Architect AWS, you will work closely with customers, project managers, and internal technical teams to translate business requirements into robust cloud solutions. This role requires strong communication skills, a consultative mindset, and the ability to lead complex cloud initiatives from design through delivery.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Design end-to-end cloud architectures for customer environments across IaaS, PaaS, and serverless services.
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation projects with a focus on best practices and secure design principles.
  • Provide architectural governance, technical leadership, and quality assurance throughout project lifecycles.
  • Conduct cloud readiness assessments and create high-level and low-level design documentation.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment using IaC tools such as Terraform or ARM/Bicep.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance, identity and access controls, network architecture, and data protection strategies.
  • Optimize customer environments for cost, performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on cloud strategy, roadmap development, and technology selection.
  • Assist with pre-sales activities, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and presenting architecture proposals.
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for cloud-related technical challenges during project execution.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Terraform?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, We are seeking an experienced Public Cloud Architect to design, implement, and support cloud solutions for our customers across multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise with at least one major public cloud platform-either AWS or Azure-and a strong background delivering scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures., * Certification in at least one major public cloud platform (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect).

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions.
  • Strong expertise in core cloud services such as compute, networking, storage, identity, and security.
  • Proven experience delivering customer-facing cloud projects in consulting or managed services environments.
  • Solid understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or Bicep).
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and present complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical knowledge mastered or to be developed together:

  • Hands-on experience with both AWS Cloud and Azure Cloud.
  • Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS).
  • Familiarity with multi-account/multi-subscription governance models such as Landing Zones.
  • Background in networking, security architecture, or application modernization.
  • Experience working in an MSP or customer-facing consulting practice.
