Job description
Reporting to the Head of Hardware Engineering, you will contribute to the design, development, and validation of FPGA-based architectures and embedded systems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to define technical requirements, implement designs, and ensure robust verification and documentation., * Analyze system-level architecture requirements and assess technical resource needs
- Draft and maintain detailed technical specifications
- Design FPGA architectures aligned with product objectives
- Develop FPGA code using VHDL or Verilog
- Create and maintain build, test, and automation scripts
- Establish and manage both virtual and hardware-based validation processes
- Implement designs on target hardware platforms
- Conduct validation testing and produce associated documentation
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Electronics or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in FPGA and embedded development
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to work both autonomously and within a team
- Good command of English, * Solid hands-on experience with Xilinx FPGA development
- Strong understanding of digital video interfaces, video processing standards (e.g., SMPTE 2110, JPEG XS), and high-speed communication buses (PCIe, USB3, DDR4)
- Proficiency with timing constraints, simulation tools (e.g., Questa), synthesis/place-and-route tools (e.g., Vivado), and configuration management platforms (Git, Bitbucket, JIRA)
- Experience with advanced on-target verification methods (e.g., low-level embedded software on FPGA for test routines) is an asset
