Job description
We're looking for a proactive 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to resolve escalated issues, support varied client environments, and contribute to service improvements. You'll work from home but need to be within 20 miles of Littlehampton for occasional site visits (own transport required)., * Resolve 2nd line tickets across desktop, server, network, and cloud.
- Escalate complex issues to 3rd line when needed.
- Assist with client onboarding and small projects.
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base.
- Mentor 1st line engineers and contribute to team goals.
- Travel to client sites as required.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Microsoft Windows Server?, * 4+ years in IT support (MSP experience preferred).
- Strong Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence and reliable transport.
Technical Skills Required
You'll need strong experience in the following technologies:
Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune), Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Windows 11, Active Directory, DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, Group Policy, Hyper-V, Networking, VoIP. (Microsoft certifications desirable.)
