We're seeking an experienced 2nd line IT support specialist to join our managed service team. In this role, you'll take on a variety of exciting IT tasks, including building, maintaining, and monitoring workstations, servers, network equipment, VOIP solutions, and cloud systems. As part of our team, you'll manage support tickets from 1st to 2nd line, ensuring comprehensive, lasting solutions. Your ability to resolve complex issues while maintaining clear communication is key to the service we provide. You'll work closely with our clients, providing both onsite and remote support across the Northwest, liaising with senior staff and end-users.

This role is primarily office-based, requiring you to work in the office five days per week. However, you will also need to travel to clients within the Northwest, with travel expenses paid. A successful candidate must have a full UK driving license and access to a car., Reviewing support tickets and managing through to resolution (ITIL Framework)

Maintaining a high level of security, performance controls, and compliance

Managing and updating the documentation pack for all client systems
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in macOS?, Minimum of 3 years of experience in a 2nd line IT Support role at an MSP
Administration and Management of the following technologies:

Active Directory (On premise & Entra)

Cloud - Microsoft 365 / Azure / Intune

Microsoft Exchange

Windows Server

Windows 10 / 11

MacOS

VMware / Hyper-V

VOIP system management

Managing backups
-
Patch management for 3rd party software, A technology-related degree or equivalent industry qualifications (Preferred)
