Job description

As an IT Field Services Engineer, you will make an impact by ensuring reliable IT services for end-users through on-site and remote technical support. You will be a valued member of the IT Infrastructure team and collaborate closely with network, security, and other IT teams to resolve complex issues and deliver exceptional service.

In this role, you will:

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, video systems, and mobile devices.
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for end-users, including VIP support with white-glove service.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are fully operational for critical sessions, including video conferencing systems and connectivity checks.
  • Install and configure operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices, and maintain network connectivity.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, apply patches, updates, and security configurations as per company standards., * Car or mobility budget.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • 4-6 years in IT support or field services role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Office 365, EDR/Antivirus solutions, iPhone/iPad, desktops, laptops, printers, and video conferencing systems.
  • Familiarity with Citrix, Active Directory, Networking (Switching, Routing, DNS, DHCP, VPN), Firewall/Security.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow) and remote support tools.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently.
  • Basic proficiency in French or Dutch., * CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications.
  • ITIL Foundation certification (optional but desirable).

About the company

This is an onsite position requiring presence at client or Cognizant offices in Belgium.
