- Lead UX design activities across FCA digital transformation workstreams.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes, interaction designs, and user interface concepts.
- Translate research insights, policy constraints, and business rules into coherent user journeys.
- Work collaboratively with user researchers, service designers, product managers, engineers, and FCA colleagues.
- Facilitate design workshops, playback sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
- Produce clear documentation, design rationale, and patterns to support delivery teams.
- Contribute to UCD best practice and shape design approaches within multidisciplinary Agile teams.
Requirements
A major FCA transformation programme is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to support the redesign of key regulatory application journeys. This work forms part of a wider UCD award delivered through a collaborative Rainbow team model, focused on replacing Legacy processes and improving how firms apply to and interact with the FCA. The role requires strong prototyping capability, excellent communication skills, and proven experience delivering high-quality UX within complex public-sector or regulatory environments., * Proven experience as a Senior UX Designer in public-sector, regulatory, or similarly complex environments.
- Strong prototyping skills using tools such as Figma, Azure, or Adobe XD.
- Background designing transactional, form-based, or high-complexity services.
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to senior non-technical and technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of UCD principles, interaction design patterns, and usability standards.
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams and cross-functional digital programmes.
