Job description
You'll provide hands-on technical support across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and security tools. Working both remotely and on-site, you'll handle day-to-day troubleshooting, project support, and client engagement while maintaining high service standards.
Core Responsibilities
Resolve hardware, software, and network issues across diverse client environments.
Configure and maintain Windows Server, desktops, networking equipment, and VPNs.
Support Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
Assist with system monitoring, patching, backups, and security checks.
Contribute to infrastructure and cloud project delivery.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and provide guidance to colleagues.
Work directly with clients to ensure smooth delivery and excellent service.
Requirements
Strong experience in Microsoft technologies: AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, IIS, RDS.
Good understanding of VLANs, routing fundamentals, switching, and firewalls.
Proficiency with VPN technologies, particularly IPSec and remote client setups.
Windows Server (2016-2022) and Windows 10/11 experience.
Microsoft 365 troubleshooting and administration.
Knowledge of backup/DR solutions and endpoint security tools (SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, ESET, Fortinet).
Experience with MSP platforms such as NinjaOne, ConnectWise, Halo PSA, or Autotask is advantageous.
What We're Looking For
At least 3 years in an MSP environment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
Proactive, adaptable mindset with a customer-first approach.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel. (4 days a week onsite, 1 WFH)
Certifications (Microsoft, Fortinet, Dell) are a bonus.
Degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
