Job description

The spin-off SoreAlert (website) is developing a smart patch that prevents pressure ulcers before they develop. This helps patients, makes everyday work easier for caregivers, and reduces the burden on the healthcare system. A key feature of the smart patch is a reflective pulse oximeter that is used, among other things, to monitor blood flow in the skin., * You identify the biggest factors influencing the signal quality of reflective pulse oximeters

  • You develop electronic hardware with different arrangements of analog front ends, light-emitting diodes, and photodetectors
  • You record data sets that can be used to compare the arrangements
  • You select suitable algorithms to evaluate the quality of the PPG signals (machine learning, Python)

What we offer

We offer you a challenging and varied research role with responsibility and creative freedom. As part of our young spin-off team, you will gain first-hand insights into Munich's start-up scene. You will be able to make your mark and bring your ideas to life in projects. This will allow you to develop scientifically, professionally, and personally.
