Back End Developer

We're looking for an experienced Senior C++ Engineer to support our Playback Orchestration team during a critical migration phase. As we transition to a new orchestration system, your primary mission will be to help maintain and stabilise the existing platform-mitigating risk and ensuring smooth operation as we approach the final months of migration.

This is an opportunity to work closely with a highly collaborative, Sweden-based engineering team on widely-used, consumer-facing media experiences.

What You'll Do

• Support and maintain the current playback orchestration system during a high-impact migration.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve complex issues-triaging problems quickly and effectively.
• Work across multiple projects, adapting to shifting priorities and domains.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure alignment and minimise wasted effort.
• Communicate technical insights clearly, simplifying complex concepts for non-technical audiences.

• Senior-level C++ expertise with extensive industry experience.
• Strong debugging capabilities and a test-driven mindset.
• Familiarity with playback and orchestration APIs (highly preferred).
• Comfort navigating large, complex systems and shifting between contexts.

• Background in consumer multimedia software (e.g., Netflix, Amazon).
• Experience with automotive infotainment or car software ecosystems (e.g., Volvo Cars).
