Job description
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the OpenShift platform and its ecosystem (Kong, Kafka, Vault).
- Manage the platform lifecycle: provisioning, updates, patching, and capacity planning.
- Implement and maintain observability solutions (metrics, logs, tracing) using Prometheus, Grafana, and associated tools.
- Establish governance for observability and operability of applications hosted on the platform.
- Handle incident response and perform root cause analysis for platform-related issues.
- Collaborate with security teams to apply best practices and ensure compliance in containerized environments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform architecture and operational processes.
- Internal contacts : Databases, Systems, Telecom, Citrix, Development, Service Management (Incidents and Problems), Integration.
Requirements
- Higher education in Computer Science (master's degree or equivalent).
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent command of OpenShift and/or Kubernetes administration
- Excellent command of monitoring and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana) and overall operational maintenance
- Excellent command of Linux (RHEL/CentOS)
- Excellent command of scripting (Shell, Python)
- Knowledge networking, security, and RBAC concepts in containerized environments
- Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery strategies
- Responsible, rigorous, versatile, flexible, and with strong interpersonal skills. Team player, continuous improvement mindset, proactive
- Fluent in French and English
- Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate
