Job description
As an Instructor you will be a big part of students' educational process and will:
- Host regular live Q&A sessions to help students unblock and progress confidently
- Offer personalized support through 1:1 video calls to answer questions and guide assignments
- Occasionally respond to student questions via direct messages
- Lead live lessons on core program topics and industry-relevant skills
- Share your professional insights and best practices to support the learning community
- Review student projects and provide feedback based on program standards
- Write clear, actionable feedback to help students improve and meet expectations
- Support students in text by explaining concepts, troubleshooting code, and clarifying project or review questions
Requirements
Do you have experience in Tutoring?, * At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Data Science - including Python, advanced SQL, and a solid grasp of Machine Learning fundamentals
- Ability to clearly explain topics like EDA, SDA, and Machine Learning in a way that's accessible to beginners
- 1+ years of professional experience in the tech industry - experience with the U.S. market is a plus
- Availability to work from 6:00 PM (EST) to 2:00 AM (EST)
- A genuine passion for teaching, sharing knowledge, and staying up to date with the evolving field of Data Science
- Fluent English: this role involves speaking directly with English-speaking students, so strong spoken and written communication is essential
- Must be based outside the United States.
We appreciate it if you have:
- Teaching or tutoring experience
- Experience in deeper DS concepts (such as Computer Vision and Sentiment Analysis)
- Have your own experience as a student online, and the desire to help create the best place in the world to study Data Science
Benefits & conditions
- Fixed monthly compensation of $2,300-3,500 (compensation will vary based on experience)
- Full time, Remote First role with a consistent weekly schedule, 8-hour workdays, five days a week, scheduled between 10 AM and 2 AM ET (Monday through Sunday). Your exact working hours will be confirmed during the interview process.

What to expect from the hiring process:
The hiring process includes a check of your technical knowledge and teaching skills - this may happen through a technical assignment or a live (technical) interview.
While the usual steps include a screening, a technical evaluation, and a final conversation, the exact order may vary depending on the program. We'll guide you through each step along the way.
