Job description
We're looking for 2 hands-on Senior Data Engineer to take ownership of operational data platform tasks and improve stability across our Azure environment. The job is mainly focused on development (80%) with some ops work (20%).
What you'll do
- Own and support production workloads, reducing dependency on existing engineers
- Debug and resolve production issues quickly
- Improve stability across Azure, Databricks & Airflow
- Optimize ETL pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost
- Contribute to CI/CD, monitoring, and incident/change management best practices
What success looks like
- 20% reduction in pipeline failures and 95%+ SLA adherence within 90 days
- 30% fewer incidents through strong incident management and RCAs
Requirements
Do you have experience in Scrum?, * 5+ years of experience with Azure
- Strong skills in Python / PySpark
- Extensive experience with Databricks, Airflow, and Azure DevOps
- CICD and testing experience
- Agile/Scrum experience, strong communication skills, fluent in English
