Job description
Strategic Leadership: Contribute as Head of IT to enterprise-wide strategic planning and technology investment decisions as a member of the CEO's Extended Leadership Team and Core IT Senior Leadership Team.

Financial Management: Own and govern financial cost centers for both Run and Change initiatives, ensuring budget alignment with business outcomes and strategic transformation priorities.

Team Management: Lead and manage geographically distributed teams across multiple locations, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery across multiple time zones worldwide.

Technology Delivery: Oversee as Head of IT end-to-end technology delivery, including DevSecOps, Software & Data Engineering, Quality Engineering, and IT Risk & Controls.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance for regulatory audits and adherence to international standards (SOX, GDPR, Solvency II, IFRS17).

Vendor Management: Direct strategic vendor and technology partner relationships, overseeing performance and driving results through robust contractual frameworks.

Change Management: Institutionalize robust Change Management frameworks, ensuring accountability and governance across the delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, ideally as a senior IT manager or Head of IT, preferably within the insurance or reinsurance sector.

Strong understanding of enterprise applications and engineering, with a track record of managing large portfolios and leading cross-functional teams.

Experience with financial management, including budget governance and cost control.

Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to serve at the C-level.

Proficient in modern delivery methodologies, including Agile practices and hybrid work models.

Strong analytical skills, with experience in defining and rolling out operating metrics and dashboards for executive leadership.
