Job description

We're looking for a passionate and proactive IT Support Technician to join our Infrastructure team. You'll play a vital role in supporting day-to-day IT operations across the group - keeping systems running, users supported, and contributing to the success of ongoing tech improvements.   • Provide first and second-line IT support using Jira Service Management
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and server issues
  • Configure and install laptops, desktops, mobile phones, and tablets
  • Support user onboarding/offboarding (account setup, permissions, password resets)
  • Administer 3CX telephony systems (extensions, call logs, provisioning)
  • Create and maintain documentation using Confluence
  • Deliver basic IT training to end users
  • Liaise with 3rd-party vendors and external support
  • Manage IT equipment stock and replacements
  • Contribute to IT projects and system upgrades What You'll Need

Requirements

  • Experience in an IT support or helpdesk environment

  • Proficiency with: o Windows 7/10/11, Windows Server (2016-2022) o Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, Entra ID o Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file & print services

  • Networking fundamentals (firewalls, switches, routers, cabling)

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • A methodical, problem-solving approach

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential) Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar ITSM tools

  • Knowledge of scripting or automation

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco)
