Job description
- Designing prompts, system messages and reasoning flows for multi-turn conversational AI
- Building and iterating on LLM-driven features such as AI moderators, insight generation and conversational agents
- Developing and optimising retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines using embeddings and vector search
- Fine-tuning models using techniques such as LoRA / QLoRA and supervised fine-tuning where appropriate
- Running structured experiments to evaluate accuracy, tone, safety and consistency
- Creating automated evaluation frameworks and test suites for GenAI features
- Collaborating with engineering, product and research teams to ship AI features into production

Requirements
You'll be an AI Engineer with strong practical experience working with LLMs and GenAI systems, comfortable balancing experimentation with production delivery. You'll be curious, methodical and confident working across technical and non-technical stakeholders., * 3+ years' experience (7+ years for Senior candidates) in AI/ML engineering, applied NLP or LLM-focused roles
- Hands-on experience fine-tuning LLMs using HuggingFace, LoRA/QLoRA or similar approaches
- Strong Python skills and experience with modern ML tooling
- Practical experience building RAG systems, embeddings and retrieval workflows
- Experience designing experiments and evaluating model behaviour in real-world scenarios
- Clear communication skills and the ability to explain AI behaviour and trade-offs
Desirable (but not essential) experience includes:
- Multi-agent or tool-using agent systems
- MLOps tooling (e.g. SageMaker, MLflow, Databricks, Azure ML)
- Vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate or OpenSearch
- Model alignment, safety or interpretability work
- Startup or fast-paced product environments, * Stage 2 - 1-2 hour technical discussion focused on skills, problem-solving approach, and real-world experience (remote)
- Stage 3 - 30-minute interview with CTO or Senior Leadership team covering culture, communication and alignment with company vision and goals (remote), * Python
