Job description
We have invested heavily in our People Tech landscape over the last couple of years, launching a new HRIS (Bob) & ATS (Greenhouse). As our People Systems Specialist, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring these systems run smoothly day to day, supporting colleagues across the People Team and helping us continue improving the employee experience.
You will report to the People Tech Lead and work closely with People Operations, our Centres of Expertise and wider business stakeholders. This role is a 10 month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
- Review and improve existing configurations, ensuring we maximise our systems and continue improving the employee experience
- Keep up to date with new releases and updates, assessing relevance and working with the People Tech Lead to plan and coordinate adoption
- Maintain accurate user access, permissions and change controls
- Provide support for technical queries and escalations, troubleshooting issues with vendors
- Produce user guidance, process documentation and training materials to support the effective implementation of new functionality and processes, enabling our People Operations team to respond to first line support queries
- Support and promote knowledge sharing and collaboration
- Support (and where appropriate, lead) projects working across our People Team and other business functions, gathering requirements, scoping projects and managing processes from concept to delivery
- Participate in and organise system testing, validation and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure functionality aligns with business needs
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and build self-service where possible
Requirements
- Experience administering HRIS systems (ideally HiBob & Greenhouse) including configurations, permissions & access controls
- Understanding of HR and TA processes, data management, and reporting
- Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to break down problems, investigate root causes and propose practical solutions
- Proactive in taking ownership of projects, demonstrating energy and curiosity with a willingness to learn new systems and functionality
- Experience with system implementation, including translating business needs into system requirements, testing, and user training
