Also, regular use of all Radiology Systems which include CRIS, ICE, PACS and IEP.
To provide assistance in relevant projects and improvement plans to final implementation The role will also involve the cascade of benefits from current and other developments throughout the Trust as part of the overall Radiology PACS/CRIS/ICE strategy.
To be a core member of the PACS Office. This will include liaison and support to all within Radiology as a whole, the Trust, and other key external contacts including patients. To be point of contact for Band 2 & 3 staff members and act as trainer and mentor for specific areas of their training and ongoing improvement. To provide support to the PACS Department which will include the Office Manager and other key senior members as required.
Requirements
The post holder will provide a comprehensive service as the Radiology Systems Support Administrator. This is a very busy role and we are therefore looking for someone enthusiastic and excited to take on a challenge. A previous knowledge of Radiology PACS/RIS Systems would be an advantage., We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, a flexible team player and a desire to provide a first-class service for patients and clinical teams. You must be confident, diplomatic, and able to work in a busy environment with a pleasant disposition. You will need to have a flexible approach to a demanding workload and changing priorities., * Diploma level qualification or equivalent experience in relevant discipline
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Excel advanced features such as pivot tables, graphical features and other data manipulation features.
- Experience in an information-oriented environment, producing regular reports from a variety of data sources.
- Working with various stakeholders to produce tailored reports and data sets.
- Experience of working with stakeholders at all levels giving a high level of customer service and response times.
- Evidence of excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to gain understanding from complex data sets and present information in a clear way to various stakeholders.
Desirable criteria
- Demonstrates clarity and breadth in use of verbal and written communications
- Microsoft accredited course in Excel and advanced techniques
- Specialist training/qualification in statistical analysis
- Experience in a relevant NHS information heavy environment, utilising data quality and analytical techniques.
- Experience of CRIS software and other data reporting software.
