Job description

Fantastic opportunity to join an International company working on their ICT Helpdesk at the Head office. You will be supporting a user base of circa 400 alongside a support team in Essex. As a self-starter you can work independently use initiative and be the first point of call at the Heathrow site. Predominantly 1st line but opportunity to develop and progress with the latest technologies, + Log and manage help desk calls logged ensuring relevant issues are raised with ICT Team

  • Primarily dealing with and helping users within Heathrow office
  • Diagnosing issues and working with the ICT Team to resolve
  • Managing hardware builds for PC and Laptops making sure that they abide with company policy
  • Logging issues (software/hardware) with suppliers and managing calls
  • Working with suppliers to get the best price and managing orders
  • Help ICT Team investigating issues, projects & new technologies
  • Managing corporate Mobile Devices and linking to corporate systems
  • Managing changes to local 3CX phone system
  • Manage local hardware for new starters, plus spare equipment and update asset lists
  • May be needed to work out of hours to help with projects or if there are any issues if required
  • Any other delegated tasks as deemed reasonable as assigned by the reporting superior

  • Worked in a help desk environment for minimum 1 year

  • Experience setting up hardware (PC/Laptops/Printers)
  • Good organisational skills
