Job description
An established business within the HVAC and refrigeration sector is currently seeking an experienced HSQE Advisor on a full-time permanent basis to join their central support team based in Dartford, although you can work from home, visiting customer sites from there across the South. You can live anywhere in the South ideally close to Southampton or Reading so you can attend the local office. You will need to enjoy travelling as you will visit manufacturing and customer sites across the South frequently with some overnight stays. This position plays a key role in maintaining and developing effective Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management systems, ensuring full compliance with legislation and industry best practice across the business. You will work closely with management, project teams and site personnel to identify hazards, reduce risk and support consistent compliance standards. employees and subcontractors Support project delivery to ensure full CDM compliance, including Client, Principal Contractor and Principal Designer duties Monitor contractor compliance and conduct site audits and inspections Report performance trends and improvement actions to senior management Essential Skills & Experience as HSQE Advisor Excellent verbal, written and report-writing communication skills Full flexibility to travel to multiple sites Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and database systems Driving license Desired Qualifications & Knowledge of HSQE Advisor Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HSQE role, open to background, however, experience in the service industry, manufacturing, warehouse regional distribution centres, Abattoirs, Nuclear and or Marine would be an advantage NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Professional membership such as Nebosh, IOSH, IIRSM or ISEP Why Consider this HSQE Advisor?~ Company vehicle or car allowance ~25 days holiday, defined pension contribution plan, life assurance, private medical insurance, company sick pay scheme, ongoing professional training and development support
