Solutions Architect

You'll work directly with senior business and technology leaders, shaping modern, cloud-native solutions and seeing them through from early discovery to delivery. This is a hands-on architecture role with real ownership, not a narrow advisory or governance position. What you'll be doing

• Operating as Solution Architect across large-scale transformation initiatives
• Working with senior stakeholders across business, product, engineering and delivery
• Translating business needs into clear, practical architectural designs
• Defining service boundaries, integration patterns and data flows
• Making and explaining trade-offs around security, scalability, cost and operability
• Producing and reviewing solution designs at both high-level and detailed stages
• Supporting engineering teams during delivery to ensure designs are implemented as intended

Technical environment

• Cloud platforms: AWS and Azure (some GCP exposure)
• Modern, distributed and cloud-native architectures
• Integration-heavy enterprise systems
• Strong focus on security, identity and governance

• Proven experience operating as a Solution Architect on complex, enterprise-scale systems
• Clear ownership of solution design, not just contribution or review
• Strong understanding of cloud-based application architecture
• Practical experience defining integration patterns, service boundaries and data flows
• Comfortable being specific and accountable for architectural decisions
• Able to explain how systems work, not just why choices were made
• Experience working directly with senior business and technology stakeholders

Eligibility requirements

• UK nationality or Indefinite Leave to Remain (settled status)
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC)
