Job description
- Design data models, flows, and integration patterns.
- Translate client needs into effective data solutions.
- Implement ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
- Ensure compliance with MOD and government data policies.
- Mentor junior engineers and uphold best practices.
- Embed security and stay ahead of emerging data technologies.
Requirements
- Data architecture or senior data engineering in complex environments.
- Data modelling, metadata management, and integration expertise.
- Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP), data warehousing, big data, SQL/Python.
- Defence sector standards and secure data handling.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
