Job description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller to join a leading residential developer to work in the Legacy Works Team. Based out of an office in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. This role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to play a key part in managing project documentation for one of the UK's leading residential developers. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage all project documentation in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely distribution of documents to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Help manage document control systems, including electronic filing and version control.
  • Monitor document compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth document flow.
  • Track and report on document status, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Support audits and quality assurance processes by providing accurate documentation records.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Document Controller within construction or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of document control systems and software (e.g., Aconex, Viewpoint, or similar).
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
