Job description

We're hiring an experienced Data Integration Engineer contractor to support a global law firm working across data platforms in SQL and custom APIs.

Requirements

This is a hands-on technical role for an experienced as a Data Integration Engineer who is an expert at fixing errors, querying the data, updating data pipelines and general technical troubleshooting.

Proven ability to diagnose, analyse, and resolve complex data integration issues efficiently. This includes debugging ETL/ELT processes, identifying data discrepancies, and implementing robust fixes.
Expert proficiency in SQL and other query languages to extract, analyze, and manipulate large datasets.
Competence in performance tuning queries for optimal efficiency and data integrity verification.
Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, communicate technical issues, and ensure seamless data flow across systems.

Skills required

Strong SQL Server skills (procedures, views, table design, indexing, optimisation)
Familiar with both REST and SOAP API
Experience with cloud (Azure) and APIs (Hubspot)
Excellent written and verbal communication with client stakeholders
Proactive problem-solver who enjoys untangling complex data sets.
