THE ROLE: We are looking for a proactive and hands-on IT Support Technician to join our growing team. Based at our office at Llansamlet, you will provide a mix of on-site and remote support to our offices and manufacturing sites across the UK. - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Procure, configure, repair and refurbish IT and network equipment.
- Provide responsive desktop support and handle help desk requests.
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including account access and permissions.
- Maintain and optimise all areas of Microsoft 365, including Intune, Entra, Exchange, SharePoint, and Azure.
- Monitor and address cybersecurity vulnerabilities, implementing effective solutions.
- Working closely with the management team to understand business needs and make informed technical recommendations.
- Help with the implementation and support of a new ERP systems project that we will be rolling out in 2026.
- Support and enhance network configurations, backup infrastructure including ERP & Time and Attendance.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in AutoCAD?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role as travel between sites is required.
- Previous IT support experience (2 years preferred), including bachelor's degree in a computer science related subject preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Experience with network infrastructure and hardware.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and remain calm under pressure.
