Job description

Our client is recruiting for a proactive and highly organised Document Controller to support project teams by maintaining, managing, and controlling project documentation. You will play a key role in ensuring documentation integrity, accessibility, and compliance with standards, enabling efficient collaboration across departments. You will work closely with the Senior Document Controller and project teams, administering document control systems and supporting design approvals. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage project document stores, ensuring the latest revisions are controlled and distributed.
  • Support design approvals and assist project teams with documentation queries and issues.
  • Administer and maintain document control systems and contact databases.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks for accuracy, version control and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Document Controller and project teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry documentation standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in document control, ideally in construction, fit-out or similar project delivery environments.
  • Proven experience with document control systems such as Deltek PIM, Procore, BIM 360, SharePoint or equivalents.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical, process-driven approach.
  • Clear communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
