(Medior/Senior) MES Tech consultant

The scope of our contract is to bring assistance with a right-hand Project Associate, in the context of an industrial manufacturing environment where a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is being deployed, configured, and stabilized across production operations, with strong interactions between shop-floor teams and IT systems., Supporting projects by facilitating communication between stakeholders and progress toward objectives:

• Support the collection of user needs and help translate them into requirement specifications
• Support users and teams during testing phases, with or without end users
• Support deployment and go-live phases
• Support training and onboarding of shop-floor teams on MES usage and evolutions
• Support operational teams in daily use of the MES
• Run or support project follow-up meetings
• Act as a link between IT, Methods, and Maintenance teams
• Represent the MES team toward users and represent users toward the MES team
• Support teams during ramp-up phases
• Support incident management and system evolutions
• Work in a team, share activities, and collaborate toward common objectives
• Interact in French and English on technical topics related to the missions

Supporting projects with rational and data-driven assessments:

• Ensure understanding of the functional scope of the MES
• Ensure understanding of the MES Apriso implementation on the defined scope
• Understand implemented processes and user interfaces
• Understand the technical solution used for MES Apriso implementation
• Monitor and follow testing phases, in laboratory or live environments
• Supervise deployment activities on the defined scope

Supporting projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution:

• Perform or support the writing of requirement specifications
• Perform or support laboratory and online test execution
• Perform or support production go-live activities
• Develop or support development of MES processes and user interfaces during prototyping
• Configure or support configuration of MES Apriso for connectivity with industrial equipment
• Integrate or support integration between MES Apriso and industrial equipment
• Configure or support configuration of MES Apriso with IT systems, including data flows, transactions, and synchronization
• Integrate or support integration between MES and IT systems
• Maintain MES configurations and developments
• Optimize MES configurations and developments
• Document MES configurations and developments

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Background as an engineer or technician in IT, industrial IT, automation, MES, operational excellence, or a similar role close to production processes

• Experience or exposure to MES environments, ideally with Apriso
• Familiarity with industrial IT systems and connected production environments
• Knowledge of no-code and low-code development approaches is a plus
• Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, or C# is an asset
• Ability to work in a team, share activities, and collaborate toward common goals
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand French and English in a technical context
• An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus, including extra-professional or extra-academic initiatives
• Immediate availability is preferred
