IT/ERP Specialist

· To provide support for our Freshware ERP system and interrelated business systems (such as EDI, Reporting).

· Troubleshoot and resolve Freshware system issues promptly in order to minimise business disruption.

· Work with the Freshware Support team, raising tickets, ensuring changes are made are timely and accurately and to introduce new versions of the software.

· Working with users and Freshware Developers, to introduce system projects in order to improve our processes and eliminate manual tasks. Support data migration, testing, and user training during project rollouts.

· Maintain system documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.

· Monitor system performance and implement improvements where necessary.

· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

· Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings within Freshware ERP.

· Perform regular system health checks and apply updates or patches as required.

· Work closely with vendors and third-party providers for system enhancements and support.

· Stay up-to-date with Aptean (Freshware) ERP developments and new modules and best practices.

· Provide recommendations for technology upgrades and integrations.

· Build reports through SSRS or equivalent to give users bespoke reports for their departments.

• Experience within a similar IT/ERP role
• Knowledge of migration to SaaS models
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

• BSc/BA in Computer Science or equivalent
• Certifications in Microsoft 365
• Project Management experience
• Experience in Manufacturing environment
• SSRS report writing/Power BI knowledge
