Scopely is seeking a highly motivated Senior/ Software Engineer to join our Playgami team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis!   • Design, architect, and help implement features to run world-class games at scale
  • Take responsibility for the quality of what the team creates, helping to establish good practices
  • Deliver code and supporting documentation of the highest quality through good design, attention to detail, and system testing on a timely basis
  • Ensure our systems perform, and are reliable, scalable, and secure
  • Work in an agile environment where your opinions matter
  • Team up with skilled colleagues that are committed to delivering the best products possible
  • Share knowledge and help colleagues both inside and outside of your team

Requirements

  • Team player with good communication skills, someone who is easy to work with
  • Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals (data structures, concurrency, design patterns, algorithms)
  • High-quality and maintainable code writing
  • Mastery of Java, C#, or another OO language, including experience with asynchronous, multi-threaded, parallel programming paradigms
  • Always looking further to keep improving your skills
  • Product Engineering Mindset

Bonus Points

  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP…)
  • You do not fear acronyms like TDD, CI, CD
  • Experience with low-latency, high-volume distributed systems and Big Data computing technologies
  • Web development on a modern framework such as React or Angular
