Job description
A Senior IT Asset & Configuration Manager to join a global IT Control & Service Management Center of Excellence. This role sits within a complex, regulated financial services environment and plays a critical role in providing transparency, control, and governance over IT assets and configuration data across a global organization.
You will be the go-to expert for IT Asset & Configuration Management, acting as a connector between IT teams, service management, and business stakeholders worldwide., You will operate within the IT Service Management team and be responsible for the end-to-end IT Asset & Configuration Management capability. This includes both hands-on operational activities and strategic process improvement.
You will work closely with stakeholders across Europe, the US, and APAC, ensuring global alignment, compliance, and continuous improvement.

- Providing insight and control over IT resources and services
- Managing and continuously improving the CMDB within ServiceNow
- Ensuring asset data quality, governance, and compliance
- Acting as capability owner for IT Asset & Configuration Management
- Supporting and backing up IT Change Management
You will:
- Oversee all hardware, software, and financial IT assets
- Ensure accurate registration and lifecycle management of assets in the CMDB
- Develop, implement, and enforce IT Asset Management strategies, policies, and best practices
- Perform both operational ITAM activities and process optimization/documentation
- Support the implementation of the Common Services Data Model (CSDM)
- Integrate ITAM with other ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem, etc.)
- Act as IT Capability Owner for Asset & Configuration Management, defining vision, roadmap, governance, and value
- Serve as backup to the IT Change Manager, including participation in CAB activities
- Collaborate with global IT teams on initiatives, projects, and improvements

- Mature and standardized IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes
- Improved insight into hardware, software, cloud, and financial IT assets

- Continuity and resilience in Change Management through backup ownership
Requirements
Do you have experience in ServiceNow?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in an IT Service Management environment
- 3+ years of hands-on IT Asset Management experience
- Proven experience with ITIL Change Management (e.g. chairing CAB)
- Experience in regulated, financial, or large enterprise IT environments, * ITIL v3 or v4 Practitioner
- CITAM / CSAM / Certified IT Asset Manager (or equivalent)
- CHAMP (Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional) - preferred
