Job description

Hywel Dda UHB Information Services has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with suitable experience to manage the provision of the Hywel Dda UHB Corporate Information Service.

The postholder will be pivotal to ensuring the data and analytics needs of the organisation are met and supporting the organisation to make data driven, evidence based, decisions.

The postholder will:-

  • Work with senior managers and clinicians to provide information and analysis to support service delivery.
  • Deliver statutory reporting and data flows to Welsh Government and NHS Wales.
  • Provide professional advice and support for the collection, analysis and data definitions and standards.
  • Maintain and continually seek to improve data capture, data processing, error checking and information reporting systems, The postholder will have responsibility for the following team functions:-
  • Data standards (including management of the Welsh Patient Administration System). Providing professional advice and support for the collection, analysis and data definitions and standards.
  • Corporate Reporting service (including regular reporting, ad hoc reporting/analysis and Freedom of Information requests),

New reporting developments using Power BI.

Specification, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data and intelligence.
