Software Consultant

A growing software consultancy is looking for an experienced Software Application Consultant to join their organisation andlead project implementations from the initial client requirements gathering to the final implementation. You will be required to work on bespoke projectsthrough all stages (design, configuration, implementation and support) while working closely with the client.

What You Will Be Doing

• Conductclient requirements gathering to discuss and identify new or changes to existing document management system requirements
• Analysecustomer business processes and recommend solutions
• Produce technical documentation such as user requirements and functional specification documents
• Design and configure Document Management solutions using current tools, ensuring alignment with client requirements
• Plan and implement the software, including installation, migration and configuration to meet client requirements
• Define and configure workflows, user interfaces, database tables, metadata, etc. to standardise document classification and management
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, including troubleshooting issues and providing advise

• 3+ years experience in software implementation
• Experience in conducting requirements gathering and documentation
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, VBScript, PowerShell & SQL Server as well as languages such asVB.Net, C#, etc
• An understanding the commercial implications of consultancy activities and identifying opportunities for new work
• Prior experience working within regulated industries such as engineering, construction, finance, etc. would be advantageous
• Experience with Cloud hosted solutions in either Azure or AWS is also highly desirable
