We have a great opportunity for someone to join our Business Information Systems team as an IT Supplier and Contracts Lead in Birmingham.
As an IT Supplier and Contract Lead, you will be required to take full ownership of IT supplier and contract management, ensuring value delivery, compliance, and risk mitigation. You will manage the entire supplier lifecycle, from onboarding and contract administration through to performance monitoring and governance.
In this role, you will drive cost efficiency and foster continuous improvement across all supplier relationships, while acting as the lead for supplier management processes and ensuring robust controls and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Requirements
We are looking for a dynamic professional who brings at least two years' experience in end-to-end contract management, supplier relationship management, and performance monitoring to ensure compliance and exceptional service quality. You'll have a strong grasp of contract terms, obligations, SLAs, KPIs, and risk clauses, paired with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across business and technology teams.
Your organisational skills will be critical as you manage and prioritise multiple contracts, deadlines, and supplier obligations with precision and attention to detail. Confidence in Excel is essential, as you'll create insightful dashboards that track and optimise contract lifecycles.
The successful individual will bring professionalism, discretion, and a client-focused approach, coupled with the ambition to deliver real impact and add value in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Desirable
- Awareness of UK GDPR, ISO 27001 and information security frameworks
- Understanding of IT services, cloud models (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS), and service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Exposure to ITIL practices and service management principles
