Senior Software Engineer Data Technologies (Teil-/Vollzeit)

In our team "Data Technologies", you are responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines and processes in the ECC analytical and reporting data landscape.

• Consulting, designing and implementing what is needed for our journey from a classical database architecture to a modern data-mesh-like architecture
• Designing specific data-based solutions for different parts of the organization using state-of-the-art technologies and security tools
• Developing design criteria for the ECC Data Domain
• Coming up with solutions which are quick to implement, cheap to maintain and come with a high reliability
• Analyzing our Data Technologies portfolio for potential improvements respectively deriving and implementing new features
• Supporting our Product Owner in the creation of requirements and translating these into software designs to evolve the value added to our business
• Ensuring the compliance to internal and external standards, regulations, procedures and best practices

Do you have experience in Scrum?, * You either have successfully completed a degree in Information Technology/ -Engineering or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist

• You bring several years of demonstrable work experience in backend-coding (Java, Python) within cloud-based, distributed systems
• Data pipelines as well as Data Warehousing and/or Cloud-based (GCP or Azure) Database Technologies are familiar to you - ideally in an agile/scrum-based environment
• Your strong analytical and problem solving skills set you apart
• Ideally, you have already gained experience working in a banking and/or commodity environment, though not a must
• You can communicate fluently in Business English as well as in German on at least an intermediate level
